Lush Haul Video

Hey everyone...I can't believe it's November already, where has the year gone?
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, life has been very busy lately with a college course I started about 6 weeks ago and because blogging is something I do in my spare time I just haven't had time to write any new posts. I only have a few weeks left on the course so I will be going full steam ahead with plenty of new blog posts and YouTube videos once the next couple of weeks is over. Hang on in there :)

As you may already know, I have been a beauty therapist for the past 5 years and the course I'm doing is a teaching qualification so I can go on to teach beauty therapy in a college and become a beauty lecturer. The thought of becoming a student again after 5 years was a little scary but i'm really enjoying the course and met some lovely new friends.

So, I went a little crazy in Lush the other day and picked up quite a lot of stuff from their Halloween/Christmas collections.
Below is the video of everything got.... ENJOY :)

Review: Valentine's Love Locket Bath Bomb from LUSH

As you all know by now I have a huge obsession with Lush!! So when I saw that they had launched their new Valentine's collection, I just couldn't resist on getting myself one of these heart shaped locket bath bombs.

Once you break open your locket, you will find another heart-shaped bath bomb hidden inside which is filled with lots of confetti hearts. When you place this into your bath it fizzes and releases the confetti hearts into your bath water and turns it a lovely pink colour.

This bath bomb is quite expensive, retailing at £6.95. But it's designed to be used for 3 baths (2 halves and 1 mini heart), which works out around £2.30 per use. This is less expensive than the average bath bomb in Lush, therefore I think it's definitely good value for money and I would 100% repurchase this product.

Happy Valentine's Day to all my lovely readers :)

Favourite LUSH Products

Ahhhh, I'm getting a little obsessed with LUSH at the moment! I just can't help it, the smell from the shop just draws me in! Therefore I thought I'd share my thoughts on some of the products I've been loving recently.

THE COMFORTER Bubble Bar-
Firstly I just want to say how amazing this bubble bar smells! I find the warming smell of blackcurrant very relaxing, especially if I'm feeling tired or stressed after a long day. Compared to other LUSH bubble bars, this one is nearly twice the size, therefore you will only need to crumble half of it into your bath (under a running tap). It turns my bath water a deep pink colour and adds loads of big, fluffy bubbles.

RRP- £4.50 each.

CUPCAKE Fresh Face Mask-
Being a HUGE chocoholic, I just couldn't resist trying this chocolatey face mask from LUSH. Not only is it great for anyone who is concerned about spots and breakouts, as it draws out any dirt and impurities from the skin, it also smells AMAZING! Fresh mint stimulates and tones the skin, whilst cocoa butter softens and moisturises. After using this mask I saw an immediate difference to my skin. Any redness from spots was dramatically reduced and my skin felt deeply cleansed. As these face masks are made from fresh ingredients, don't forget they need to be kept in the fridge and used up within 3 weeks of purchasing.

RRP- £5.95 each.
REMEMBER, DON'T THROW AWAY YOUR EMPTY POTS! If you take back 5 to your nearest LUSH store then they give you another mask for FREE :)

SEX BOMB Bath Bomb-
Being a complete girly girl, the first reason I was drawn to this bath bomb was because of how cute and girly it looked. I then gave it a quick sniff, and WOW I was sold! I immediately feel relaxed when I drop this into my bath water by the smell of jasmine and ylang ylang. The smell is quite strong, so if you're not a fan of strong smells then this might not be for you, but I personally love it! The rose in the centre of this bath bomb floats around your bath once your bath bomb has stopped fizzing and my bath water turns a lovely purple colour.

RRP- £3.25 each.
